The National Development Plan: Vision 2030 is South Africa's long-term planning document, adopted in 2012. It defines fourteen outcomes that all government planning aligns to.
The MTSF is the five-year implementation plan for the NDP. Each MTSF cycle picks NDP outcomes and translates them into priorities, outcomes, and indicators for the planning period.
